BUILD STRENGTH
GAIN CONFIDENCE
Maddie Myers is a personal trainer and group fitness instructor based in New York City. She specializes in weight-neutral, sustainable fitness that builds strength, mobility, and confidence.
After earning a degree in finance and accounting, I moved to New York City and launched a career in public accounting. I had chosen a financially stable and secure path. But graduating from college in 2020 forced me to reassess what was important in my life. Growing up in the early 2000s, I saw how toxic the fitness and wellness industry was and knew I could make a change. I closed the CPA textbooks, quit my job, and in December 2021, I earned my NASM CPT instead.
My relationship with movement started much earlier. I grew up a dancer, but I never felt like an athlete. It wasn’t until college that I stepped into the gym and discovered strength training. I became a trainer for the 18-year-old version of myself: the girl caught in toxic fitness trends and exercising only to change her body. Today, my mission is to help others step away from the ever-changing aesthetic goals and find sustainable, joyful movement that supports their lives instead of shrinking them.
My training approach blends strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and power to help clients feel capable in everyday life. My goal is not only to make you stronger, but to give you the knowledge, confidence, and habits that make movement a lifelong, positive relationship.
